    Session Details

All trainers have had to manage challenging trainees at one time or another (if you have not, you will). The difficult trainee could be a talker, a know-it-all, an arguer, a complainer, or simply a distracter.

A competent trainer must establish order, maintain control and prevent symptoms of disruptive behavior in the classroom. In addition, the trainer needs to know what to do and what not to do when handling such behavior and how to avoid taking the behavior personally, which involves integrating specific conflict resolution methods.

    During this session, we will:

    • Recognize, assess and minimize difficult trainee behavior.
    • Respond appropriately to difficult trainees without losing control or taking it personally.
    • Review appropriate uses of various conflict resolution styles to maintain control in the classroom and make more effective choices.

Join us for this interactive session that will address one of the most inevitable yet difficult training challenges and walk away better equipped to navigate conflict and maintain control.
