Upstate ATD Returns!
Mark your calendar for Upstate ATD’s return to programming! It’s a new year, and with it we’re making several changes - a new meeting place, date, and time, and a slate of terrific speakers.
Our theme for the first half of 2020 is Transformation. We’ll have speakers sharing their stories of how talent development has supported organizations in transformation, and how talent development organizations themselves have transformed to remain effective.
First up is Jennifer Sutherland, Director of the Training & Development team for KellyConnect, part of Kelly Services. You know the Kelly name - with 6800 employees worldwide, they provide temporary employment to half a million workers annually.
Jennifer’s a new Upstate resident, joining us from the Detroit ATD chapter, where she was a board member and conference speaker, and she’s now part of the Upstate ATD leadership team.
She leads a training team of 130+ remote training and nesting/ramp professionals which support internal training and client training needs. As strong advocates for design thinking and adult learning principles, Jennifer’s team is responsible for preparing contact center agents and leaders to exceed customer and client expectations.
Jennifer will discuss recent transformation within Kelly Services under a new CEO. She’ll share their change management practices that ensure effective transformation towards the new vision and talk about her team's role in employee engagement within her division.
