Welcome to the sponsorship community of the Association for Talent Development – South Carolina Chapter (ATD SC). By registering as a sponsor, you agree to the terms below and commit to aligning with the chapter’s values of professional development, inclusivity, and ethical behavior.

📌 Overview

ATD SC is a 75+ year strong nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering professionals to develop talent in the workplace. Your sponsorship supports impactful programs, strategic initiatives, and member-focused learning events throughout the year.

This agreement is made between ATD South Carolina and the registering sponsor organization (“Sponsor”).

🧭 Eligibility & Alignment

• Sponsorship is subject to approval by the ATD SC Board or Sponsorship Committee.
• All sponsors must align with ATD’s commitment to learning, ethics, diversity, and inclusion.
• ATD SC reserves the right to decline sponsorships that do not align with our mission or community standards.

📦 Sponsorship Benefits & Deliverables

• Sponsors receive only those benefits outlined in the selected sponsorship tier or custom agreement.
• Logos, promotional items, speaker bios, or other materials must be provided by stated deadlines to ensure benefit delivery.
• Missed deadlines may result in partial or forfeited deliverables without refund.

🧾 Use of Logos & Branding

• Sponsors may only use the ATD South Carolina chapter name or logo with prior written permission.
• Use of the ATD National logo is strictly prohibited.
• Any co-branded promotions or marketing campaigns require prior review and approval.

💬 Speaking Opportunities & Visibility

• Speaking or presentation privileges (if offered) must follow ATD SC’s educational-first policy — no sales pitches or product promotions.
• Any content must be submitted in advance for review.
• ATD SC reserves the right to revise or reject materials that do not meet educational standards.

📊 Attendee & Member Data

• If sponsors receive any contact lists (e.g., post-event opt-ins), such data may not be shared, resold, or used for bulk marketing.
• Sponsors must comply with standard data privacy and respectful outreach practices.

🧍 Professional Conduct

• Sponsors must represent their organization professionally in all interactions with members and ATD SC volunteers.
• Disruptive behavior during chapter events, meetings, or platforms is prohibited.
• Sponsors must adhere to the ATD Code of Ethics and Chapter Code of Conduct.

ATD SC reserves the right to revoke sponsorship benefits and/or future participation in cases of unprofessional behavior.

💸 Payment, Cancellations, & Refunds

• All sponsorship payments are final and non-refundable.
• In unique cases (e.g., inability to fulfill benefits), alternate recognition may be provided at the discretion of the chapter.
• Sponsorships are not transferable unless agreed to in writing.

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

ATD SC is not responsible for any claims, damages, or losses incurred by sponsors related to their participation.

Sponsors assume full responsibility for their marketing materials, conduct, and staff interactions with members or event attendees.
