Different and Alike: Generations in the Workplace

Presented by:

 Iwana Guess Ridgill, Ph.d

With four generations in the workplace today, the task of training is challenging because we are likely to have representatives of each of those generations in classes and workshops.   Knowledge of the characteristics of different generations can be useful for the professional who wants to bridge the gap that sometimes can develop between various age groups that are working together on a team to accomplish goals.

In this session, participants will gain information to better enable them to:

  • Identify distinguishing characteristics of four different generations in the workplace
  • Recognize similarities of the four generations
  • Bridge the gap that can exist between generations
